Rexxio 45/410

I have the opportunity to purchase one of these cheap. I am not interested in the 410 capabilities, just in the 45 accuracy. I know the gun is not the best quality, I already have the 22 cal model, which is reasonably accurate for what it is. Iam concerned that there is too much sacrificed for accuracy in making the gun also shoot 410. Any body have experience with the 45 colt model?

Re: Rexxio 45/410

While I haven't shot one, I have researched these extensively, ironically for the 410 capability. Most report the trigger pull to be over 8 lbs. and accuracy to be sub par with .45. For not much more you could probably find a cheap six shooter.

Of course, if you can get it for a c note or less, I think man law article 5 paragraph 7 states that it is such a good deal ya gotta buy it just because.

Re: Rexxio 45/410

.410 shot shell = 3", .45 Colt case = 1.285"
Too much throat in chamber for 45 Colt to accurately be introduced to lands of barrel. .45/.410 bbl twist = 1:16
Even with shell-cracker/stabilizer in place ineffectual barrel for adequate pattern of shot. Novelty but an idea that compromises the use of either!
I have a smoothbore .410 bbl and a .45 Colt ONLY bbl. Both work great! Pick one. Leave the novelties at the circus!

Think twice, shoot once.

Re: Rexxio 45/410

these were on the market for a short time. don't know if they still market it or not, but one came out that seemed to overshadow it and it's called the SuperComanche. I had a Rexxio. The .410 in 3" was punishing for recoil. It never achieved much appreciable accuracy. I killed a few squirrel with mine but never could learn to like it much , so I sold it.

I gotta go agitate the techies!
