Has anyone seen the Encore barrels since S&W took over ? I was on Georgia outdoor forum ,one blogger said they have a S&W emblem just past the word Encore?

I won`t buy anything off of T/C since the S&W takeover. They are ruining the company. Basically going in the total wrong direction for me.

Re: New T/C Encore Barrels

My next bbl will either be from Bergara or a custom job, or a used one. I just picked up a virtually Brand New Realtree Pro Hunter 20 ga. turkey bbl, Warn TC Maxima bases and QD rings, Pro hunter forearm and Bushnell Trophy turkey scope for a whopping $200.00! There are deals out there if you look...

Re: New T/C Encore Barrels

I'd buy a used barrel made by T/C before I'd buy a S & W barrel. As far as custom barrels, E.A. Brown and MGM both put out quality barrels.

The older I get, the stronger gravity becomes.

Re: New T/C Encore Barrels

To many used barrels out there for sale, if I wanted a new one it would be a MGM barrel.

Re: New T/C Encore Barrels

Whats wrong with the S&W barrels? I am looking for a 7mm-08 15 inch blued. Getting rid of a 15 inch 35 whelen blued.
