Ruger No. 1 250 Savage

I bought a used, No.1 in 250 Savage over the week end. I guess there where only 250 of these made. The guy i bought it off of shot it so, it dosent matter anymore if it has 1 or a thousand down the tube now, so I'm going to shoot it. Its tough findin ammo, brass so I necked up some 22-250 stuff I had, seem to fit real well. I loaded Sierra 87 grn. spitzers with 32 grns, of 3031, for starters. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this week end, I'll give her a try...

Re: Ruger No. 1 250 Savage

You have a great caliber. I shot one for several years using 38.5gr with 75gr.hp and my deer load was 32.0gr. with Nosler partition bullets. Have fun
