here is the rifle teams new toy


its a eliseo tube rifle stock
anschutz 1907 barreled action
anschtuz rear sight
"right site" front sight

had to have something for the kids to fight over

That is such a far cry from the Winchester 52's I shot when on a team.

What ammo does the team use? Back when, standard velocity ammo was the cheapest available. Our coach got a deal on some cases of Canuck ammo from Canada. Had to wipe the excess lube off the bullets before a match. Now all the shops want a premium for standard vel ammo.

We shoot all SK ammo that is made by a Lapua company. It shoots great and is reasonable for us. some other schools shoot eley but that is out of our price range being as we use about 35000 a year.
