Came out in my hand it appears the extractor screw snapped off...mid thread...
Any one have experience w this piece? Do I need it to use gun?
Is it hard to replace?

Re: T/C Encore 50 Muzzleloader question

If I remember right you need the primer extractor to set the proper head space for the 209x50 primer. I could be wrong, anyone else chime in?

You can have it when you rip it from my cold, dead hands.........

Re: T/C Encore 50 Muzzleloader question

I've had that happen 2x. So allow me to share my knowledge...
1. Its warrantied by TC they'll replace it free.
2. Those screws suck
3. You dont need the lil holder for the primer, I've shot mine a few times without it. Its just a bit harder to pull it off sometimes or as quickly.
Happy Hunting..
