Identify these single shot cartridges

The 22LR and 223 blank are there for size comparison

the fourth from the right is a 45-70.

HINT: All of the cartridges were used by North American military units.

(The US Army even issued 22 revolvers to the Alaskan Guard during WW2.)

I am guessing one of them is a 50/70 Govt.

Just guessing....3rd from left, 45-90, 5th, 45-60, 8th,50-70, last two, 58 US carbine and 58 US musket.

On the third from the left.....Peabody rings a bell. The others, (except for the 45/70).....Not a clue

22 lr on the left and snake shot next to it.....Maybe a 223?

Sykotik, very close. It (third one) isn't a Peabody cartridge, but many Peabody rifles were chambered for it. The Rhode Island Militia used the cartridge for about 20 years. Remington manufactured over a million rifles chambered for it.
