Contender 45 colt barrel qUestion

I have a original framed contender. W a barrel that says 45 colt on it...
Im wondering if I it has a choke in it for 410... It came w a choke key but it won't budge in the barrel..
I have shot 410 shells out of it but never a 45 round...
Any ideas?? Or suggestions?
Thanks OC

The choke is for 410 you take it out for .45. You can try soaking it in a penetrating oil at the muzzle end for the last inch and a half. Also try cleaning that area with a brass brush and carb cleaner to remove possible plastic fouling that may seal out the penetrating oil on the inside of the barrel. Then soak inch and a half muzzle end for a day or two. Put in the choke wrench and tap end of wrench with a wooden mallet or piece of wood, do this several times. Don,t hit to hard just tap. Secure barrel in vice or have someone hold it down so it won't move and use an adjustable wrench or pliers on the choke wrench. See if you can break it loose. If that doesn't work you can try heating it with a heat gun or hot water made very hot in a microwave. Then try the tapping and wrench loosing again. Don't over do it and be careful not to mar the finish on your gun. Also when holding the barrel still while wrenching support it by the barrel not the frame, as if you are too forceful maybe you could twist the frame.
