Cartridge Stuck

Anyone ever have a problem the the cartridge being stuck in a T/C Encore barrel? Whether its a fired or unfired cartridge it gets stuck. I end up having to put a cleaning rod down the barrel to push it out. I'm going to take it to a gun shop today to get looked at. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Thanks

Are you using factory ammo or reloads? I'd give the chamber a good cleaning before going to a gun smith. Is the extractor engaging the cartridge?

Yes, I'm using factory loads and the extractor is engaging. Maybe I will run a wire brush in the chamber and give it a good cleaning before taking it to the gunsmith.

Does it happen every time? or just sometimes? Maybe a broken spring or something

It happens every time. I'm going to switch out the extractor with the one out of my 308 barrel before I purchase a new one. From what I've gathered they are the same.

how many rounds thru this barrel
sounds like maybe your chamber is worn out and too much room, , or head space issue?
you should NOT be needing to push a round out with a rod
doubt cleaning will help, or be the correct solution to the issue?

I installed the new extractor and that fixed the issue!
