At the risk of being "that guy" isn't the point of owning an encore so that you don't have to answer that question?

If an inline is just like a flintlock why don't you get a flintlock so you can hunt more seasons?

Mine would be the barrel I have, a stainless .50 caliber muzzleloader barrel.

If I could only own 1 barrel for my Encore, I'd sell the Encore and go back to all bolt action rifles.

The older I get, the stronger gravity becomes.

Ha, haven't dealt with TC in some years. And probably won't, now that they've been sold.
I was a flintlock customer, so they're is no room for us today.

Spent the spring detailing where to find replacement parts.
I am long gone from TC.

I have a stainless 7mm-08 Encore barrel, only one I own, so I guess that's what I'm going with!

Bigfoot saw me but nobody believes him!

My 7mm-08 pro hunter barrel probably. I own a bunch in rifle, pistol and shotgun, but its my favorite. Shoots seemingly everything I feed it well and will shoot virtually the same hole with inexpensive (no ammo for the 08' is cheap) Winchester PP 140s. Hand load from very light to 170 gr and except for a great bear, it'll handle about anything that walks North America.
