Re: Henry 45-70

Since this is the FOR SALE forum. Are you looking to sell the Henry?

I don't believe this is the ""FOR SALE"" forum

Re: Henry 45-70

I have one. I like my marlin 45/70 better but the stock and finish on my henry is far superior.

Note you can;t shoot the Hornaday Leverolution in the henrys

45/70s are fun!

Re: Henry 45-70

Why can't you shoot the Hornady from them?

Don't let our differences defeat us.

Re: Henry 45-70

They are to long. I emailed hornady about it and they said not use them at all because of jamming.

Re: Henry 45-70

You have to trim the brass back because the fxt bullet is longer if your a reloader. They still jam in my 45/70 marlin with shorter brass. Since I have 3 45/70s to load for I will no longer be using that bullet.

God, Family, Country in that order.

Everyone uses the Hornady Lever Revolution in the Henry's now, I think I read that they made some changes to the rifle?
