NEF 10 guage single shoot

I purchased this sometime ago when Boscov's sold guns...I will use it when I'm calling for others for coyotes and all I need is one shot should one aka coyote come running at me... I like the gun big time.. Whats nice now is that they have 10 gauge Deadcoyote in # 4 buckshot! I also like to use BB Bismuth too.. What a shame companies don't make 10 gauge in single shotguns anymore... It didn't break the bank when I purchased it. it carries nice and has a army forest camo on the stocks and forearm..

Have you tried shooting it yet? Many years ago, I ran into a guy trying to sight one in with a scope shooting federal slugs. Scope kept getting loose. It ranks as one of the most brutal recoiling shoulder fired weapons I ever pulled the trigger on!

I have a 10 made by h&r it is a goose gun with a 36in bbl. This gun kills geese like no other. However it also kills on both ends , it also is brutal.

Re: NEF 10 guage single shoot

From someone whom has shot a lot of different firearms of various calibers I shot one once and I am good for the rest of my life. So far that is the only gun I've met that I don't want to shoot again.

If an inline is just like a flintlock why don't you get a flintlock so you can hunt more seasons?

I have an H&R single shot 10 gauge also. Last time I used I was shooting clay pigeons with 3 1/2" BB steel. Didn't bother me. I've shot the old 2 7/8" lead it used to come in along with the 3 1/2" lead.

If you want to lighten them up,remove the recoil pad and take out that 9" piece of steel rod that is in the stock. It will kick more but if you only shoot it on occasion its not bad.

The answers to all of life's questions are found in the Bible!

Mine is not bad at all... Of course if a predator comes in do you ever really feel the kick? Deadcoyote now comes in 10 gauge and you can get the Deadcoyote in # 4 buckshot too... At least I did get some from Midway when it came out.. Hope they Deadcoyote still makes it in the 10 gauge?
