I have an older Ithaca model 37 lightweight, that has lost it's front flouresent bead. How do you adhere a new bead?

Thanks.

It's threaded into the barrel.

Is there a threaded hole or did the sight break off leaving the base in the barrel?

I just checked the barrel, and yes there is a hole where the bead should be, but, the problem is that I had a choke system put in a few years back, and I don't think that there is enough metal left in the barrel. Is there a way to anchor the bead other than screwing it in ? i.e. glue or solder ?

Can you see any threads?

There were some fiber optic sights that used double faced tape. You may be able to try one of those.

They usually are thin and there may only be a couple of threads but that is enough. If you do I check and get the thread size. There are some differences.
