I've had best accuracy with Hornady SST's but the Federal Fusion is a very close second. If I was hunting anything larder than deer I would pick the fusion over the SST.
I have success with the Federal Premium 140 grain Barnes X's. Theseare very accurate in my Model 7 and did very well on some does Monday. Shoot whatever you gun likes the best, let it decide.
My Encores will shoot Winchester PP 140 grainers into the same hole at 100 yards. I have never dropped the hammer on a deer, Big buck or not that took more than one shot. I think it should be more about what your particualr rifle shoots the BEST first as there really isn't a "bad" bullet out there any more. Bersides, it's only a deer...not like you're shooting at an elk or moose. Now if that were the case, I'd be slinging the 140 gr Barnes bullets...
