Definately, not that Bear didn't have anything to teach/offer, but Les Stroud kept it real and never did any stupid crap like Bear that could get people killed trying to emulate him.

I recently watched one of grills episode, painstakingly. That twit climbed a huge cliff in the desert that went straight up. Just for the heck of it and the show ended. And guess how he got to the cliff. The camer crew drove him there in a truck. His show has nothing to do with surviving in the wild.
