Re: New backpack/survival gun

pretty cool, I want one.

Who is John Galt?

Nothing like a good bird dog and a fine shotgun.

Check out the Henry AR-7. It fits nicely in a backpack and floats.

The reviews I've read have said this gun is not sturdy enough for any kind of survival situation. Not to mention all the feeding problems.

Re: New backpack/survival gun

The AR-7 does have many problems, but if you needed one to hunt food you should always make your first shot count. I have a Charter Arms AR-7, it is very simple to take apart and clean. very few moving parts. The barrel that comes with these guns can flex when held by the barrel while shooting, I would suggest a all steel replacement.

Re: New backpack/survival gun

You can't always make your first shot count when you're dealing with an inaccurate .22 lr with poor sights.

I really like my savage 24 .22wmr over 20 gauge. Not much it can't do.
