Boating Advisory Board to Meet February 13



HARRISBURG, Pa. (Feb. 10) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's (PFBC) Boating Advisory Board will meet at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the PFBC headquarters, located at 1601 Elmerton Ave., Harrisburg, Pa. 17110.



A complete copy of the agenda is available online on the Minutes and Agendas page at: http://fishandboat.com/minutes.htm.



Included on the agenda are updates on the annual Boating Accident Analysis and Fatality Summary Report and the water rescue program. The board will also review several proposed amendments to boating regulations regarding the use of sailboards and airborne devices, and it will consider a proposal to reduce the slow, no wake zone on the southeastern shore of Packer’s Island in the Susquehanna River adjacent to Shikellamy State Park in Sunbury.



The public is invited to the meeting and encouraged to attend.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (Feb. 11) – Due to the inclement weather forecast for Thursday, Feb. 13, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) has rescheduled the Boating Advisory Board meeting to Thursday, March 6.



The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the PFBC headquarters, located at 1601 Elmerton Ave., Harrisburg, Pa. 17110.
