Boat battery

I think I may need a new trolling motor battery. What type should I get and where can I get the best prices?

Re: Boat battery

Blue top Optima marine battery. A boat shop or Sears should have them.

Re: Boat battery

I use Interstates deep cycle marine batteries. Worked very well for me.

Re: Boat battery

I had two blue top optimas crap out a few weeks after the warranty was up...what a waste of money. A group 29 autozone deep cycle battery is fine, and 1/3 the price of an optima.

Re: Boat battery

My batteries are from Bass Pro. I use 2 group 27 AGMs for my 55 lb thrust trolling motor and a flooded group 24 to crank the outboard. All have been in service for 6 summers and all are in great shape.
