$86.00 for a canoe registration??

So I bought this 16' Coleman scanoe from ancient Indian the other day and called in to see how much it would be to get everything transferred... 39.00 for the 2 year registration, 15.00 title transfer, 2.00 T-sticker, this fee for that , that fee for this... $86.00 for a stinkin canoe!!! COME ON!!!! So what if it has a trolling motor that is still too much! Thoughts?

Experience the Xtreme!

Because you have the motor on it, you must register it as a motorized boat.

If you wanted to save money, paddle it yourself, it would have been 18 for 2 years for just a unpowered launch permit.

Check the F&B Commission website. I don't know if you can still do it but a few years ago I printed up the forms from the website and sent them in with a check. It was a lot cheaper than going through a tag place.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Its that much if you want it " right now" at the messenger/notary. Just mail it in and wait for it, I think its $54 for two years.
