Re: boat mechanics

Ducky's on Vine st, Middletown used to have a good mechnic, but I can't vouch for him now since it has been a few years since I needed a boat mechnic. http://www.duckysboats.com/

Re: boat mechanics

Yes, what is the problem?

My guess without even hearing about the symptoms is Ethanol related phase separation fuel system clogging..

Re: boat mechanics

I did have ethanol problems, but I also started using star tron, my problem is I don't have reverse on my boat, its not the shift cable because when you disconnect it from where it attaches to the motor lock it shifts fine, when it hooked up it binds and won't go into reverse, so it has to be in the motor lock adjustment, I had it up there 3 times and its up there now for the 4th time for the same problem

Re: boat mechanics

just got off the phone with them, I dropped it off on Tuesday first thing, just got off the phone with them and they haven't even looked at it yet I've been messing around with this for over a month and dropped over $400. they already wasted 2 days of my vacation, if you use Goldsboro launch don't waste your time with the new mechanic moving in near by, all you will get are excuses and no solution to your problems!

Re: boat mechanics

jlc right off 283 on 743 is a good spot.. unfortunately it's that time of year, and i'd be surprised if many places are under a week turnaround
