canoe H.ID?

So i just bought a coleman ram x 16ft canoe and the plate with the HID number is missing. I know there should be another place it is at i just can not find it. Where would it be located? Also if i cant find it how would i get a new number? I want to get this registered so i can take it out on lakes and such.

Most poly plastic and fiberglass boats have it stamped into the hull on the right rear. If yours was ever registered or launch permitted the hull number will be on record, just a phone call to the Boat Comm. hotline.

The fish commission can give you a hull # if it never had one.

Re: canoe H.ID?

You do not need to register it, unless you plan on mounting a motor on it......if it going to remain "un-powered" you can get a launch permit from DCNR or PAFBC, and it will allow you to launch it anywhere
