Boat cover help

I own a 2010 tracker grizzly 1648 welded boat. I want to get a cover for it. Ive researched the market but cant find someone who owns a "Grizzly Model" that ordered a boat cover?

Anyone own a tracker grizzly all welded boat with a boat cover? Also, does the boat cover cover up the trolling motor when its mounted on the front of the boat?

Re: Boat cover help

I have a 1648 seaark and the cover I have fits the boat and covers the trolling motor. My seaark is the pointed bow. You may want to see if you can find one of those.

Re: Boat cover help

My g3 cover is like genxweb's.. My cover goes over my trolling motor, although the anchor on my anchormate sticks out.. I know a guy that just had an amishman make a cover for his boat.. Not cheap but fit perfectly

Re: Boat cover help

I have a lowe scorpion 16ft and the cover fits over the trolling motor! my old boat was 16ft deep v and that cover also fit over the trolling motor! Did you try to look at cabelas or bass pro? they usually have decent pics to go with there covers. Even check with tracker and see what they say?

Re: Boat cover help

Just go to a marine canvas shop and have a custom cover made, you can get it done your way instead of settling for something off the shelf that may or may not suit you.

Re: Boat cover help

The generic covers you can pick up on line are OK but for the money you would be better off having a custom made that will fit your boat. They can add snaps to cover the boat easily and place extra stitching and material where needed, like over cleats, edges for the windshield and covering the trolling motor.

You will pay more but if taken care of and not left on towing down RT 80 at 85 MPH it will give you years of service.
Do not buy a so called CUSTOM cover from someone that does not have your boat.
Good Luck

Re: Boat cover help

The covers bass pro sells are made to fit your boat. My dad has one for his tracker boat, and it fits like a glove. It also has extra reinforcing where is comes in contact with the windshield, trolling motor and anchor. His was NOT cheap at all. I think he payed around 250-300 bucks back in 94 when he bought his boat.
