we-no-nah canoe question

I bought a white (fiberglass?) 16 ft. we-no-nah with the plastic bucket seats, does anyone have an idea what model it may be. It may be around a 1990's canoe, last permit was from 1992. Did some looking on line and some pics look like the Jensen model, but not sure. Not looking to price it or anything, just would like to know for the launch permit listing.
Thanks,
John

Re: we-no-nah canoe question

There should be a plate somewhere along the inside of the bow or stern with a name or model number printed on it.

Eh, there's no plate. That's why I was asking, but thanks for your help.

Re: we-no-nah canoe question

You can research the last permit or reg. online. It should tell you what model it was registered as. Be careful, something that new with the tags removed often means stolen. I hope you got a bill of sale. If you are not savvy with the online thing you can just call the customer service # for fish commission, they will check it on the phone for you. Good luck.

Re: we-no-nah canoe question

Canoes usually do not have capacity plates like boats.........

There should be a hull ID number some where on it, usually on the gunwales.

Find the number and give them a call. Even without the number I'm sure they can give you the info you need.
