no prop power

had my boat out today with a older murcury 9.8. I noticed at alittle over 1/2 throttle it sounded like it was slipping. Motor just reaved up. any suggestions?

Ok. that is a newer one, not the "mark" series. It is probably white not the typical merc Black.

I do not believe that it has a shear pin, but does have a rubber bushing inside the prop between the blades and the hub.

Those props are still around. Try Michigan Wheel first. then try

A fair number of old merc parts (NOS=new old stock) are out there and especially the props are often being made.
