First, depends upon where you run. If inland the gpos charts are poor. If you run salt then better gps charts are available. I personal like two separate unit, a gps and a sonar.

i will look to go out around sandyhook nj...stripers, fluke, sea bass would be a target fish! just looking for ideas! THANX!

I think it almost comes down to price and size of display these days.. all of the manufacturers have great units.

I do agree with two separate units..

I have an almost 10 year old Standard Horizon CP-150 chart plotter with a C-Map card. It is awesome! I keep looking at newer units but other than larger displays, functionality seems to be virtually the same.

Ain't no such thing as a "couldahad" with the bow"
