hose clamps

should you have hose clamps on your boat motor?

do you mean on the gas lines???

I have them on gas lines, on engine water lines, and on fresh water lines!

Also, I know I always have a number of various sizes in my on-board tool/parts chest.

I use the plastic ties that sinch tight and never have any leaks ns they don't cut in to the hoses. Never had one come loose. Keep a couple of them in the boat all the time.

i used to build pursuit boats. anything below the water line or through the hull had double clamps 180 degrees from each other(tightening screws oppisite) also all fuel lines same thing.

dont know what kind of motor or boat your talking about but haveing zip ties on board is a great idea
