Re: Got a new Kayak

I guess it depends on what your going to do with it
Might want to think about a couple Dry Bags

Life's too short to hunt with an ugly dog!

Re: Got a new Kayak

Get an old milk crate or plastic tote. Great for bungee'ing to your deck (if you've got a tank well-- or add some pad eyes if not) and holding all of your small stuff.

Be good, and you will be lonesome.

Re: Got a new Kayak

Let's see pics!!

I have fishing rod holders and an anchor system that I find to be very useful. Also might want to get a towel or sponge to put between your legs under the seat to absorb water that collects in the kayak. I wear a thin pair of waterproof pants if it's cold out and I don't want to get splashed by any water.

God Bless the USA.

Re: Got a new Kayak

I also just got a kayak. Im planning to put a depth finder on it. Are depth finder generic or are there specific models for kayaks. Is it hard mounting them to the kayaks?
