75lb thrust

electric motor from minn kota...amyone ever use one? Buying one next month for my 14 ft aluminium...

I have a 55 lb on my 14 ft.and it moves it along real nice so a 75 should really do the trick.

Nature can teach us alot.

For a 14ft boat that will be plenty. I had a 55lb Power Drive on my 16ft Crestliner Fish Hawk and it wasn't quite enough in windy conditions. I upgraded to an 80lb Terrova and that did the trick.

I use an 80lb maxxum pro on my 17'.. Love the thing.. What model are you getting?

thanks guys...I will be using it on the Susquehanna...I had a 40 and it didn't do a bad job....just wanna use for it for 2-3 hrs at a time...in pretty slow water, drifting with bait...
