Gas/Oil mix

Today I was mixing some gas for my Nissan 15HP outboard. As I was measuring my oil I had 10oz of Quicksilver synthetic 2 cycle oil, but I needed 12oz to make my 50:1 mix. I accidentally grabbed a bottle of SAE 30 and added 2 more ounces to my measuring cup.... Will this cause any issues, or should I just mix it with my gas go fishing?

Re: Gas/Oil mix

Outboard used to use 30 SAE at a 24/1 mix. In your case it might cause a little smoke or rainbow on the water but no long lasting effects.
When it comes to lubrication I would rather have a little extra than not enough.
Enjoy your fishing trip
