Transducers

I am thinking of getting a Lowrance elite 7 unit and have a question about transducers. I already have a Bottom Line unit transducer mounted on the transom. Question is if I mount the Elite 7 transducer on the transom will the transducers interfere with one another.

Anyone have any experience with this? I have heard that one may over power the other and cause interference with operation of one or both units.

Re: Transducers

I also have two mounted in the transom about 6 feet apart and have had no problems.
