NEPA RGS Habitat work day

This year we have two dates that we (RGS/QDMA) will be working on making better habitat on SGL 219 in NE Bradford Co outside of Little Meadows. There will also be volunteers from BWHAA and Keystone College. The dates are Saturday,February 22 and Saturday March 7. We will meet at 8:30 at the PGC shed at the intersection of Reagan Hill Rd and Irish Hill Rd. We're not yet sure about lunch so be prepared to bring your own. If you want to run a chainsaw you must wear full PPE (leather boots, chaps, helmet, ear protection and glasses). If you are not able or willing to run a saw you can use hand pruners to prune fruit trees or drag branches to build brush piles. PM me with any questions. THX.

Mike

We had another excellent turn out to establish some nice habitat on SGL 219 yesterday (7 March). We had 22 show up to put trees on the ground, daylight/trim fruit trees and build brush piles. Always a good day doing God's work!! BCH&A, PGC, QDMA and RGS came out to get the job done.

Here is the crew for the February 22. We had 19 show up to make habitat and Pennsylvania Outdoor Life was here to film a story that coincided with Lisa Williams segment regarding West Nile Virus.
