Go to the link below and scroll down and then click on the haneyville cam. It will pull up cams for Tamarack and Carter camp and Germania. It will give you an idea of the amounts in the Kettle Creek valley

Re: SNOW PACK AROUND KETTLE CREEK ST PARK

It's an easy foot - actually a little more - on the ground, with more on top. If you're coming up, bring a snow shovel or snow blower to get into your camp! LOL! I've been past your place a couple times this weekend, and everything looks good - it's still standing, even with at least a foot of snow on the roof!

As I mentioned on another thread here, we snowmobiled 107 miles through the mountains yesterday. You should some up to camp soon...it's beautiful up here!

Re: SNOW PACK AROUND KETTLE CREEK ST PARK

By the way Z7 - Rod G. might need heavy equipment to get up to his camp at this time... There's at least three feet of hard-packed plowed snow at the foot of his driveway, and probably 18 inches the rest of the way up the driveway!

By the time spring gobbler season starts, he'll be fine -- hopefully this will all melt by then!

We wanted to go up to a property above the lake and it sounds as if the snow depth and back road conditions will make us wait.

I'd wait... But there's supposed to be a pretty good warm-up this week, so next weekend might be better. Supposed to get close to six more inches of snow here tonight. This should be known as "The Never Ending Winter!"

Thanks for the info Karl. We are planning to come up this weekend. Might have to get somebody to open our lane.

Re: SNOW PACK AROUND KETTLE CREEK ST PARK

Thanks for the update Karl. I have this lousy thing called work that's been holding me up from getting up there. Saving my time for spring. I will be off for about 2 weeks in may. I called a guy and asked him to pull some of the snow off the roof. He was supposed to do it today before the next storm. The rain they are calling for late week will really make all that snow heavy on the roof.
I don't think rod will need any heavy equipment. Just put a shovel in his hands and he'll tear that driveway up. He'll look like a D9 pushing his way up that lane..

Re: SNOW PACK AROUND KETTLE CREEK ST PARK

You can also Google Potter Co. snow cam,
It's a live cam at Sweeden valley, also will show a live cam from the Manor Hotel off 414 and a live cam from the Pa. Grand Canyon.
All 3 were showing around a foot of snow on the ground.
These 3 cams are all at least about a 50 mile radius apart.
I'd say that's a general enough guide as what to expect in the Kettle area.
