Headed back to Altoona area at sun up. Problem is, there was already a foot of snow on the ground prior to this storm. They are Supposed to get up to an additional 10" tonight! Main roads bare around town. Just gotta make it out of the development!!!

I have been pushing snow for almost 30 years with this tractor, this is the hardest snow I remember pushing , contained so much water, if was like pushing waves........

My back deck had over 34 inches due to the drifting early this am. I'm glad I got at it before the rain hit....

Heavy snow now falling again along 83/30. Another inch in the past 30 minutes!!! Good thing it changed over to rain and gave a break.
Watch the refreeze tonight. Fox/coyote hunt not gonna start off well this weekend!

I'll be leaving shortly for my camp in Cross Fork/Potter County. Not sure when we're coming back ... no sooner than Monday -- no later than Wednesday.

That should be an easy decision Wednesday, unless you have something that you may have do before then.

Re: Too much snow at home...heading to camp!

Yesterday was a great (but tiring) day! Six of us snowmobiled all over Potter County, and even into Cameron County. We put on 107 miles through the snowy woodlands. There's still a lot of snow on top. At one location, overlooking the Whitehead Vista, the snow was well over our knees.
