Perry Co.-any ice or all snow?

We really got hammered with the ice here in York County with the last storm. Trees and wires down everywhere. Power still out in a number of places. I have a cabin in Perry County and was wondering if the last storm was all snow up there and how many inches or was there sleet and freezing rain and how bad?

about 5 inches of snow in the Wednesday storm and about 1/4 inch of ice in the New Bloomfield area.

Re: Perry Co.-any ice or all snow?

We went to our camp today (Saturday) in Juniata County. There was an inch or more of crust on top of the snow.

Camp sits about a half mile off the road. With chains on the front tires of the truck, it still took us 4 or 5 runs at it to get to the cabin. The truck was losing so much momentum breaking through the crust.

Our camp is probably a few miles NW of Kistler.

I live near New Bloomfield and we were spared ice damage the last storm....very little accumulated on trees, etc. There's about less than a foot of snow with crust of ice on top.
