Remedy for cabin fever

What do you do to get over it? Me and the dog take woods walks and I get a little shooting exercise with a favorite .22 handgun...

Re: Remedy for cabin fever

Mandatory 50 hr. work weeks takes the cabin fever out of me pretty quick. Just dreaming of a warm bed and a chance to stay in and relax a little goes a long way for me.

If I had too much time then small game hunting or maybe predator hunting would work pretty well. There is always trapping as well. I have a problem with not enough time; not too much.

Re: Remedy for cabin fever

I just have to go for a ride on the back roads.
To me,just getting out in the woods is a great escape, and quiets my soul for a bit.
Thinking of taking a week off from work, and just go "mountain manning" it.
Bare essentials, and just live off of the land.
few trout, taters, onions, some frozen mushrooms, maybe a package or two of venison.
could take the camper, but think I will just "tent" it.

true pleasure is a pair of red eyes coming at you in the night
