Re: Ice on River

took ride up to Tionesta this weekend. Ice all over the place. Tionesta river frozen most of way from Henry Mills to Nebraska Bridge.

Clarion river from Irwin run canoe launch to 36 has some spots that clear and open while other have a nice track of moving ice and the rest is frozen.

Re: Ice on River

Oil Creek in Oil City is jammed from the Allegheny River to about 500 yds upstream. The Allegeny just above and below Oil City is jammed. We had some minor flooding from Oil Creek this past weekend, now these cold temps will freeze that jam in place and with the Allegheny holding it in place. A significant rain event along with warmimg may cause some flooding issues in Oil City should that happen.

Re: Ice on River

Parker is a mess. Its been years since we've seen the river this way in our little town. The sad part is, its most likely going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.

This is the first time since 1982 that the water has been on the road in Parker.

Here are a few pics from the local area...

Take a kid hunting, it's the future of our sport and the future is now!
