Free TV

I have a free tv suitable for a hunting camp. We have an old "tube tv" at our cabin because of the affects of cold weather on LCD TV's and theft. If anyone wants a 25" (maybe larger) tv for their cabin, complete with remote please let me know soon. Otherwise, we will give it away. Located in Berks County, you must pick up. Works fine.

Re: Free TV

I have a 54 inch rear projection TV that I offered to a friend for his camp but he thinks it may be too big for his mobile home and the cold may effect the tubes.

The reason I don't need it anymore is because my son bought me a new 60 inch TV for Christmas. However, this thing is heavy and I would suggest two men a boy to move it. LOL.

If anybody thinks the cold is not a problem and he doesn't want it maybe somebody on this site could use it.

Re: Free TV

I take free CRT(tube) type TV's all the time. When one goes and we have 3(in 3 different rooms) I just replace with another one

Re: Free TV

It is remarkable how much todays flat screens are garbage. Not talking about the OPs but LCDs in general.

Re: Free TV

I bought a 47" LCD last year in July and had to have service calls twice because it would not start. Technician replaced both motherboards in it each time. Thank God it was under warranty. I have two other LCD sets (19' & 32") that have never given me any trouble and they are a few years old now.
