I wonder...

If the pictures I have taken and will continue to take this deer season will be the ones my grandkids and great grandkids will look at decades from now and say "Look at what deer camp was like back then..look at the clothes they wear, look at all that snow, look at that old truck and what the heck are they plowing with? ..."....much like I do when I look at the pics of camp from 1950's??? I guess the challenage of any legacy I may leave is to have that answer be YES.

A few pics to start the 2013 time capsule of deer camp..from the dig out yesterday..

Re: I wonder...

HA..we think alike the limb is gone, but its kin got last laugh by dumping a boatload of snow down my neck...

Smoke will be rising by Saturday...or Sunday, if we go hunt NY tomorrow. I don;t know if the whole crew will, but I hope a a couple will stay there with me Sunday night. Likely depends on how warm we get it. We are only hunting Monday and Saturday this week.

Re: I wonder...

The Shabin looks like it has always been there. What a great project you undertook for your family. Once it is all insulated even wifey will want to stay overnight. I can see this will be a better place close to home where you can spend time making improvements around the property to better your enjoyment of hunting and camping.

ENJOY, ENJOY !!!!!!!!
