Camp Shed

Our camp has a small shed about 6x6, it used to be an outhouse I believe before we got the place. Ive been looking at pre-built sheds from the amish between Newmansville and Fryburg, Clarion County. Also considered building a new one if we found it to be cheaper but we havent ran any numbers yet.

Anyone have any suggestions in that area?

Re: Camp Shed

I have a friend who has a camp right down the road from me and had a shed delivered from Smicksburg and was cheaper than any one he found in the Fryburg area. My place is in Clarington so Fryburg is a lot closer but he said it was still cheaper at Smicksburg.

Forest county got to love it!

Re: Camp Shed

You might save a few bucks building you own, but i dont think its worth the hassle.

Re: Camp Shed

If you do a search there are places that make them and you "rent to own" them with no credit checks. I do believe they say delivered anywhere. I think I saw it in a local classifeds called "The Bargain Sheet". I know years ago when the Amish started building shed my brother-in-law built one and he figure it would have actually been cheaper if he had bought one from the Amish. This had to be over 25 years ago and I am sure the Amish charge more for their labor now but I would try to run the numbers. Like stated above the savings might not be worth the hassle and wip bam boom, you have your camp.

You canít get them if you ainít in the woods!!

Re: Camp Shed

Thanks for the advice all.

Clinton, not looking to make this into a camp. It's for a shed at camp.

Thanks again.
