Re: Fall foliage northern pa

I was in Tioga County last weekend and the leaves were still on the trees. Colors are not that good. Some trees are still green. This was near the PA Grand Canyon.

Itís funny until somebody gets hurt, then itís hilarious

Re: Fall foliage northern pa

I've been up here - in Potter County - all week, and while it is past peak, it's still wonderful. The maples, cherries, and ash are all down, beech and sycamore are about half way bare, but the oaks and black gums are still holding leaves. The ironwoods looking good too.

Hate to leave this weekend, but I'll be back up in about 10 days, and I feel confident it will still be nice foliage-wise with the hardwoods starting their fall show!

Re: Fall foliage northern pa

Pretty bare in the section of Potter I was in this past weekend.
I told my wife Columbus Day is usually the peak up there.
I guess we were a week late.

Re: Fall foliage northern pa

Everything is down except for the oak leaves, and have been for a few weeks........some of the oak leaves have decent color, but most of them are brown, and they are dropping quickly every day......

Re: Fall foliage northern pa

Was in the Sproul last weekend and color was nice, but they were starting to get little bare. Ran the blower around camp to clean them up as the trees around camp were for the most part bare.
