Cabin break ins Bald Eagle State Forest

Out scouting today, when rain hit I went to cabin and opened it up and put a fire in for guys coming up today. Ranger pulled in, asked to look for any suspicious activity, a bunch of cabins were broken into over the weekend on white deer creek road, thankfully our was ok. They tried to stop a truck Sunday night, but he went too fast, throwing beer out the window, jumping culverts, way too fast, they had to back off. So if you roam that area keep your eyes open or check your camp, anything awry don't enter and call it in!

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......

Re: Cabin break ins Bald Eagle State Forest

I have a camp in Bald Eagle State Forrest, on Treaster Valley Road and a couple of weeks ago our camp door had a indent in it, someone must of tried to kick the door open. None of the door jams were broken and the doors were locked when a member showed up.

Re: Cabin break ins Bald Eagle State Forest

thanks for the heads up blackbruin,I'm no longer a member of the camp up there but my dad still is so I will tell him and see if anyone can go check on the cabin, there are trailcams hidden all around the camp and along the driveway so if anyone tried messing with the place they should have photos.
