Blain Restaurant now open

I just read in the Perry County Times that the Blain Restaurant is open. I'm going up to the cabin this weekend which is 7 miles from Blain. We'll be going over to Blain for Heritage Days at the picnic grounds. A lot of good food there, so I won't be trying out the restaurant this weekend.

Thanks for the update, YH. That's super news. The Blaine hotel for a meal is always a must stop when up at camp in western Perry Co.

I agree, that's good news. Did you make it up to camp OK this weekend with the nasty weather?

Re: Blain Restaurant now open

After getting past the big traffic mess on I 83 Friday
evening we had no problem going up to the cabin. We were backed up from just past the Youcumtown exit up to 581. We stopped at the Limekiln Road exit and ate supper at John's Diner. Back on the road an hour later at 7:30 PM the traffic was cleared up. Saturday at heritage Days at Blain was a pretty sloppy mess. It was canceled on Friday and a number of vendors weren't there, but the weather turned out real nice. We had a good time and ate some great food. We did some spotting and went for a hike. It was a fun weekend.
