Re: Clearfield County Camps

my grandfather has a camp on Wallace mine road. "camp Copenhagen" since I think 1971. they rebuilt the camp in 1994. he and 3 others are camp partners but he and I are the main ones that use it. I have been going up a lot more the past couple years. wish it had running water. also wish i could shoot behind camp.

Re: Clearfield County Camps

I live in Clearfield County between Kylertown, and Frenchville, and a lot of the time I hunt right out my back door..........however, there are a few camps around here that I hang out at.......Camp Doc-Ryan is at the end of my driveway, and a I bear hunt with those guys every year, most of the are from the Jennerstown area..........there is a few more camps down the road from me a little piece.......we also have a family camp near Lumber City that we hunt out of the first few days of rifle season every year..........

Oh yea, we kill quite a few of them every year on the river hillsides around here.........If you look on a map, the "town" name of the place I live is Palestine, but it is known as Pinchatouly or Pinchy to everyone......

Bought 2 acres of ground on the side of a ridge in pottersdale, back in 1990. Had a camp built the following spring. Paid 1 dollar for the ground.

Re: Clearfield County Camps

Our Camp Maalox is off Rt 153 between SB Elliot & Parker Dam
we have been hunting in that area for the last 54 years.
There is not as many deer in the area as in years past, but we still manage to kill a few. Love this area, an the great friends we have made locally.
