Cabin shell needed in Tioga/Potter

I'm looking for a contractor or builder to build a cabin shell in Tioga/Potter county. I'm located in Gaines twsp off of route 6. I've been trying to locate a builder and have talked with 2 people. One was pretty busy and lived 1 1/2hrs away and the other is not doing to good on the communication end. I understand it's the busy season but after several phone calls and 8 weeks, I've got not even a price. I'm looking for a pretty straight forward build about 900-100 sq feet. Not looking to spend 40 - 60 grand just on a shell. Not looking for a log home as this gets pricey. I tried that route with a log cabin contractor in my area and they quoted me way too much. Maybe someone has a line on some Amish or Mennonites that build a decent building. I'm going up this coming weekend so I'll be able. This cabin will be built as a recreational camp, not residential. Any help will be appreciated.

Big D

BTW- I can't tow a mobile home or camper on the property as I'm located in an association. Not allowed.

I'm having a contractor put an addition and roofed deck on my place and he can't start until spring. If someone could do the work for you this year, I would question his work. The good ones are all busy now.

I have to agree with you but I've been around a few contractors over the years and if a guy is busy, he says so. If you want to wait, they might help you out. Good words from a good contractor. My problem is that I'm asking for a quote, I'll pay for a quote, just get back to me. If a guy says that he's busy right now but I'll do this in the winter, I'm all for it. Next year is fine too. Just not next year in November.
BTW guys, thanks for the names. I'll do some research and phone calls. Joe, I spoke with the first one you had but it seems he's busy. He was honest. I'll keep him in mind later. Got your PM for Joel.

Buy a ready built utility building they sell everywhere and have it dropped at the site, you could prep the site then order the building, probably a little cheaper than stick built......

This I bought my camp from Larry, and it started as a shell.

Yea, I don't make that kind of money. Looked at their prices two years ago and I needed a heart monitor for 3 months.
