I had four of my regular hunters make it in for a work detail on saturday. We had such a great time working, joking, eating, and just plain socializing. It felt like the first day of firearms season. That's what a good core group is all about and I value that immensely.
Your so right about that. Savor the times when things are going good with your friends and family becuase remembering those times is key to getting through the rough spots that eventually come along. There is nothing like the friends that you hunt, fish or do other things with and when they are gone you will miss them so much it hurts.
