Few pics from the Snake hunt

Heres a couple pics of the family holding some of the snakes. I wish I would have taken more pics of the whole snake hunt to post. We had a good time there with some other HPAers and freinds. Towards evening is time to take the kids back to camp. [img:center][/img] [img:center][/img] [img:center][/img]

This is what happens after everybody leaves the snake hunt. Probably not safe and a little expensive for the trucks that broke but the law didnt stop it. (Atleast while I was there)

Looks like a great time. I remember the hunts here around Bolivar years ago. Brother-in-law won sometimes as holder of the bag and fellow I know was state champ a few times.

Re: Few pics from the Snake hunt

Thanks for the pictures, they really brought back alot of memories. We use to go to the snake hunt every year when our kids were young, I hate to say it, but that was their summer vacation. Although they are all grown now, they still remember it, and say that they wouldnt trade it for anything.....I guess they had fun..

Re: Few pics from the Snake hunt

My dad was in finals of the winners bracket and lost. Ended up around 10th. Brian and I lost our second game playing together to finish around half way through the pack. The way they ran the tourney was each round you were drawn a new partner. Once you had two losses you were done. It was some what luck of the draw but the better shooters usually could keep winning. I liked it .
