how to move a big picture/bay window.

We got a great deal on a new 5x8 bow window for the cabin.
the question is how do we haul it the 200 miles to the cabin.
Do we lay it flat in the trailer or are they supposed to be shipped in an upright position.
Thanks

I would think if you could haul it upright it would be best. That is how they delivered my buddies bay window when they delivered it.

I used to work at a building products company, all bow windows were delivered standing up.

I wish I had taken pictures of the picture window that we hauled to camp.
If you have a wooden deck trailer nail a 8 foot 2s4 to the deck and build a frame-like wall. put the bay window against it and build a frame work around it. use decking screws so you are not hammering and crow-barring the frame work up and down

as waylon would say,
dont go taking me seriously
cause i poked at you in fun
