Does dialing 228 work for ATT. I am on top of the mountain in the Tionesta area and still can get no reception. Some folks who have Verizon seem to get better reception. Or any other suggestions for ATT would be appreciated.

No cell service at camp .....so what's the problem ?
Kinda why you are at camp.
Seriously 'tho , kinda wish we didn't get it but I admit it is good to pick up Steeler n Penn State games on radio. ( don't think I have to worry 'bout Pens games this year )

The reason I would like cell service is I have some health problems and it would be a couple hours to get help. A man got injured at a camp by me during a storm this summer, by the time they were able to find a place to call for help, it was over 2 hrs before help finally arrived. Me and the wife are old school, we only bought the phone for emergencies, we usually use less than 10 minutes of talk time on it a year. I have no TV at camp either. I like the good old days. This young generation can't go 2 minutes without checking text or emails.
