Ticks

Went out Saturday for the youth/senior deer hunt. Guys were covered with ticks. Were in the Fayette county/Confluence area, never been like this in 30 plus years. Anyone else see a lot of ticks?

Re: Ticks

I've been having issues here, Lancaster county. I use permitherine and it doesn't help much.

Re: Ticks

I just pulled one off of me tonight. It seems like they completely disappeared during the summer but now they're back.

Re: Ticks

In northern Clinton county I picked probably twenty five off my one dog in two outings, none on another. No ticks on my other dog with a bit more time afield. I picked one off myself but I'm sprayed down pretty well with permetherin.
I can't figure out why one dog seems to attract them and the other seldom does and why there would be lots of them in one spot and a mile or so away there don't seem to be any?? One of the great mysteries of life.
