buying a camp

Well i think that after this hunting season i am going to buy a camp somewhere in either forest clarion or warren county. What is the best way to find one for sale. I dont see many on the net but here that there are a good bit of them. Is it better just to drive around and look. I dont need anything fancy and dont have much money to spend. I will be paying cash. I am looking for a fixer upper. I am very good with tools so i dont mind putting the work in. Any advice would be great.

Re: buying a camp

I got a few picked out that I found online that I plan on driving up this weekend and looking at. Hoping to find a nice camp being sold privately in my journies.

Re: buying a camp

The leaves are beautiful in Clarion and Forest counties this times of year. Take a ride in the area and look for the signs in the yards. A few on Craigslist right now that seem like decent prices, plus this is the time of year to bargain. Folks are done camping for the year and would just like to sale the camp. Last Fall I seen a couple camps by me go for sale in October by private sellers, the signs were down within 2 weeks.
