Thompson Wood Sealer And A Metal Roof !

Well,This was the weekend to seal the logs at camp.Started out ok,The front had me a little gun shy,I hate heights. After the front was done went to the backside,Had to get on the lower part of our metal roof to spray a few top logs.Well i was clawing my way up i kept sliding down a little, Ok not bad,Got to the peak to spray,All of a sudden i really began sliding down the roof I drop my sprayer to grap on something! Big mistake,Thompson sealer all over the roof which made my ride even faster. Two things that kept me from going over board was the screw heads and gutters.Man my butt looks like a pin cushion.

Metal roofs and moisture definitely make for a ski slope.
Pollen also makes a metal roof slicker than snot.
i just don't get on mine at all. I get help.

Would have been a scary slide! Happy to hear all is well, next time you might not be as lucky. Either call someone in to do the work or setup an anchor point to prevent you from going over

Or you could attach suction cups on your shoes.

Seriously, you should never climb a roof without proper fall protection.

Itís funny until somebody gets hurt, then itís hilarious
